Dawns Vale

Dawns Vale is a lovely peaceful lake, set in about 2.5 acres and the lake is about an acre. The Lake is very deep, about 26 feet at its deepest point. Its set away from the road so there is no traffic noise. We offer day ticket and night ticket fishing. You just need to phone and book. The lake is situated just outside of Braintree, Between Blackmore End and Shalford.  

We have a good selection of fish in the lake, Common carp, Mirror carp, Linear carp, Crucian carp, Leather carp, Ghost carp, Tench and a few Bream.

Congratulations to Wayne and John, who fished Dawns Vale for a 24 hour session from Wednesday 20th May to Thursday 21st May, for both beating their personal best. Wayne's best was a 22lb 13oz Mirror carp, unfortunatly the picture of this didn't come out but he also caught a 20lb 14oz Mirror carp which we have got the picture of. Johns best was a 21lb 4oz Mirror carp. Pictures below.

Well done to our 'resident' fisherman Jamie for also catching his personal best at Dawns Vale on Thursday 21st May. He caught a lovely 16lb 8oz Linear carp. Picture below.
